Elements Within a Form
There are three types of elements you can define within a form. INPUT,
SELECT and TEXTAREA
INPUT - Most normal text entry fields and buttons are considered
inputs: These have been covered in notes the Input Tag - Text,
Other advanced Input Fields -
password, checkbox, radio, (with checked attribute), submit and reset and
Advanced Input
Fields Buttons & Images, are covered in Lecture 11.
SELECT
- Popup menus and lists belong to selects.
TEXTAREA -
A special general multiline area for entering text.
You can mix and match these elements as desired.
