Transparent Gifs

Transparent Gifs - What is a transparent gif anyway? You can select ONE color within the gif to make transparent. That color will be displayed using the background color. Here I choose the white color to make transparent, but note the white in the eyes has been made transparent also.

A *photographic image* stored in gif format is a poor choice to make transparent, since there is seldom ONE solid background color in the image to make transparent. Results usually end up splotchy.
