[HOME] [NEXT] [PREVIOUS] Images that are included in a Web page are called inline images. They are an integral part of the document they appear in. In fact, an image is considered to be a big character on a line of text. You can align the images on a page, using the ALIGN attribute, in many different ways including the following most popular forms of alignment: top, bottom, middle, left, and right. Not all browsers support the left and right alignments which are called floating alignments where the text flows around the left or the right of the picture. Images may have borders using the BORDER attribute and floating images may have vertical and horizontal spaces around them using the VSPACE and HSPACE respectively.
